Too Little Or Just Enough?

We’ve recently upgraded to a bigger tank, filter etc. What I may not have factored in is enough plants / places to hide.

Thoughts on the tank? Enough? Or more needed! It’s an 80L.

Thanks again all - this forum is a massive help!

You could use some taller decorations to fill out the tank. And more plants is always good

Welcome to fishlore!

Thank you! I’ll get a few ordered! Fishlore has been a huge help these past few weeks, wouldn’t been lost without it!

Otos are shy and would prefer more cover.

Try adding tall plants, as dwarf gourami hang around at the top of the tank and would appreciate it. Ottos are relatively small and shy and would prefer some denser hiding spots from the dwarf gourami tetras also prefer planted tanks. I would recommend species of tetra with short fins as the gourami could nip them.
Also you could add a dark background for aesthetic purposes

Ah I wasn’t aware Gourami were a nippy type of fish, I’ll be going neon probably anyway! Thanks

There are types of gourami that are completely peaceful and non nippy (such as honey gouramis) but dwarf gouramis are a bit feisty, however it's a bit off topic
