I’m thinking this toad is female, but want other opinions.

Hard to tell from appearance, but there are some distinguishing characteristics. Does it croak when you pick it up? Does it have little pads on the palms of its front feet?

No pads and no croaking. The toad is about 7-8 months old, I had it since it was a freshly-morphed toadlet. It’s actually super friendly.

In that case, wait until it’s a bit older. Btw, do you use supplements in the diet?

It gets fed crickets gut-loaded with a variety of veggies high in calcium.

Good. Feed the crickets squash occasionally too so it gets a good amount of vitamin A. Too little vitamin A, and the toad will eventually get hypovitaminosis A. Too much, and it’ll eventually get hypervitaminosis A. Both are common in amphibians because of incorrect supplementation. I feed my insects squash about twice a month. Also, if you’re not already, try to use a D3 powder once a month.
