I am more about the Halloween than the Christmas but I must say I am really looking forward to doing the cooking and when my fiance sees what I got him his jaw is going to need to be surgically reattached! We each have a budget and lets just say I found a fair few bargains! (Thank you ebay!)

I love those pictures. I am waiting until my birthday to decorate my tanks depending on what I get I have 2 weeks off work soon so I will be doing a lot to them I hope!

OMG! Precious! Love the baby pic! I love your snowman/snowglobe collection! Even your cats!!!! I couldn't get my cat to do that if his life depended on it! LOL

Okay since I don't have my Christmas tree up yet ( postponed with the rain until NEXT weekend ) I'll post a few from last year ( and some of our favorite gifts and pics ) and then update with this years later:

My favorite is the baby with the santa hat, but my guess is you're fav is the bp.

I have some from last year too!
We take a limo ride every year to look at lights in Sacramento, especially the fab 40's!:

Finally found the perfect one!

My sisters tree that year, I don't know why we didn't take pictures of ours.

Hey Matt
We go to old town Sac every year too! We do the Polar Express train ride. Have you done that? Its really a hit and not very $$$.

Matt B

No, I haven't tried that but my little one loves trains so I bet she'd freak! We'll have to do that! The only downside I can imagine: Do they serve bottomless champagne in the train ride?

Oh ok. That's good because I pictured you completely different than he looks...You look more like what I would have imagined lol...And thank you...She is my baby. I really miss her being so little sometimes. She was barely 5 pounds when she was born and now she is 5 almost 6!!! Time flies by way too fast.

wow is that your house?! The guy with the hat in the limo looks like my old prof :'( miss him. I'm trying to put in my plug that we should actually put up decorations this year. We haven't since like ... '98 maybe?

Tunastrack- I know what you mean! My daughters only 2 1/2 but I already miss the little her, there's a pretty good chubby picture of her on my profile.

Ziggi- No way! I would never pay for that much electricity! There's certain areas of the city that go all out and all the tours and families go through them to check them out. I also don't do much decorations, I've got wreaths on the door and red bows on the light posts at the top of the driveway, that's about all.

My flat is pretty small put still have a 6 foot tree lol

Firstly I don't have a fireplace to hang our stockings so I have improvised

The tree is where I wanted to put a big fish tank but I was overuled although the tree takes up allot of space

And another with the main light on

With the main light off

And another

Thank you Cichlidnut we are both gaming geeks that's only the surface of the game collectibles we have accumulated over the years.
We both have an Xbox each too to save on arguments lol.

MogwaI is a cool name for a betta.

I think the endlers think gizmo is there to feed them they have all massed at the top think I may have to move him so as not to build there hopes up lol

Jaffa cakes lol you can buy a yard of them in my local supermarket

They are darn near impossible to find in the US. It's so sad

Maybe Santa will get you some? If I could send you some I would they are plentiful over here is it possible to airmail Jaffa cakes?

Cichlidnut

Yes, I've looked in to having them shipped. The cost of freight far exceed the actual cost of the wonderful Jaffa Cakes. So I'm relegated to dreaming of Hob nobs, Jaffa Cakes and toffee waffles.

I guess I'll just go have some KFC.

Nice tree Junne, compliments the aquarium nicely.

We got ours up yesterday:

Every year my wife gets me an ornament, she got this one this year because it reminded her of our angelfish. Awwwwwwww

Ava

I love the ornament! I've looked all over for fishy ones but I haven't seen any yet.

Thanks Matt! I was thinking, nice aquarium - compliments the tree!! LOL

Where did your wife find that ornament? Really cute!!! I have not seen any - even at the pet stores ( well I saw a few but they were cheesy )
I like yours - very nice!!!

Matt B

Haha! True either way.

She can't remember where she got it but its a mark roberts ornament, if you google his name and fish ornament some results come up.

Here I am taking jaffacakes for granted! I sometimes put them in the microwave for a few seconds and have them with ice cream, honey comb if I'm lucky!

Nice!!! We just got our tree this weekend as well! We were going to get it after Thanksgiving but it rained the last 2 weekends!!!

We are gaming freaks over here but on the WiI - you would die if I told you how many games we have - mostly my son plays it now - no time... lol

Don't remind me!!! We've been so busy with the Hanukkah festivities that we haven't set the tree up. However, the menorah is up

we live in a doll house, so this is our Christmas decor
although this only lasted 2 days....then I took it to work because of Amos, a giant kitten. We've changed his name to A-Mess. He's barely a year but as you see, he's quite comfortable making every shelf (and aquarium top) his personal space.
We would LIKE a tree, but we LOVE him *sigh*

I think our cats have learned NOT to get near the tree or a mysterious LOUD bike horn gets sounded!!! LOL - The kid, well.... that's a different story... lol - actually, he doesn't really go near the tree anymore...

Good morning,

Keep the photos coming! Some beautiful trees and decorations folks!

Links of interest:

I probably have enough Fish ornaments to do an entire tree. I always receive fish ornaments for Christmas from friends and neighbors and Chef. Maybe I'll do a fish tree next year. (remind me) This year, I wasn't in the mood to pull all of the Christmas decorations out so I'm buying new! Keeping it plain and simple this year.

If anyone lives in or near Charlotte, NC, JR's usually has fish ornaments. I found a good many there while traveling over the years. Too, Pier 1 Imports has them. I have even found some at Food Lion couple of times. Check stores and shops that you wouldn't think would carry them. You might be surprised.

Myrtle Beach, SC has a great Christmas Shop with fish ornaments if anyone is in that area. Luckily I have Ye Ole Christmas Shop here in Hootersville.

Christmas shops/stores will be your best bet!

Awwww....Finding a cat with such a BIG personality can be a very lucky find. So I see why you would choose him over the tree. He is absolutely stunning!!!...You should dress him up like I do my boys...lol
