Tiny spots on convict

I have a convict cichlid, Ollie, and a jack dempsey cichlid, Elton, in a 60 gallon tank. The tank is heated to 82F and has 2 Fluval70 filters. Elton seems to have tiny bubbles on him, which float away when he swims by plants or whacks them off with his fins. Ollie on the other hand has tiny white spots on him that look like there are white grains of sand sitting on him. What is it?

It may be ick. A picture would help. I also wouldn't have anything else with A JD in a 60g.

it might be ick

and heat up to 80 and up will help get shorter life span of ick!

Will it spread to my Jack Dempsey? I can't take a picture for some reason but it doesn't look like ick from what I've seen of ick. It literally looks like white grains of sand scattered around his body. It also looks like the specs are sitting on top of his skin.

I'm in the UK I've had success treating white spot with Protizin by Waterlife which very much sounds like what your fish has

bTW clean water and high heat can cure the ick very well indeed.
