I was wondering how many tilapia I could keep in a 100 gallon tan with a hydroponics set-up ?
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Which tilapia?
And how much actual water, and what filtration?

It would be an actual 90 gallons at minimum
The filter would be a MarineLand Magniflow 360
And either Blue or Nile Tilapia

That’s a filter rated for 100g so it will only just filter 90g... so aquarium stocking levels would apply. You’ll probably need two of those once the fish get any real size on. I would say about half a dozen tilapia, but it’s a small tank so they wouldn’t grow full size. Oreochromis limit their own size very effectively according to tank size.
