Urgent!!! Tiger Barbs Having Difficulty Swimming Down!

I just fed my tiger barbs about an hour ago and they have difficulty swimming to the bottom of the tank. I read it might be because of the flake food expanding in their stomach. Will it pass and will my fish be ok? I got them yesterday and I am using them as my cycling fish. I have 8 and most of them hare having the same problem. It's a 75g.

If they eat from the surface they get in too much air + the flakes contain air as well.
Soaking them or just feeding in the water (not at the surface) will help.

Will they be ok? Would just soaking the flakes be ok? I'm not sure how I can get the flakes to sink.

They'll be okay. Don't feed to much and push the flakes a bit in the water or in the filterflow.
I am not a fan of fish in cycles btw. To much food will mean more pollution = bigger chance of
Ammonia / nitrites.

Thank you. I'm glad to hear it. I see that cycling methods are very controversial among people.

You should look for slow sinking granules/pellets
