40 Gallon Tank Tidal 55 just stopped working?

It’s brand new- only a week old. Was doing my weekly water change so I unplugged it when it got down past the water line. Plugged it back in when waterline was high enough again. It turned on initially but I walked away for a second and came back and it’s completely off. Tried unplugging & plugging back in. Tried switching sockets. Nothing. Advice??

Might try taking the pump motor apart and remove the impeller, clean and inspect the entire unit. Put back together and try again.

It’s been one of those mornings. I swear some days my head isn’t screwed on tight enough. I had my python still in the tank refilling and I filled it too high making the filter practically unable to be heard. Filter was on but I just couldn’t hear it.

HAAAA... well they are quiet. I have two running in the same room and can't hear a thing.

I was so worried about the filter that I stopped paying attention to the water level until it was about to overflow and then I realized what was happening. Ahhhh, time for more coffee!
