The question is fairly simple, is it possible to house threadfin rainbowfish in a 10 gallon? I heard sources saying anywhere from 5 to 20 gallons for them. I used to have a group of threadfins in a 10 gallon to breed, (all of the fry died though) but I know that breeding tanks are often smaller then what is normally acceptable.
What is your opinion on this? Is it possible to keep threadfin rainbows happy and healthy long term in a 10 gallon aquarium?

IMO you can, but they would do a lot better in a 20 gallon long.
