Thread like string Growing Among Java Moss

This thin string with what appears to be tiny balls attached to the thin thread like is
growing throughout my java moss.

Can you tell me what it is?

Also, how to get rid of it all?

It could be reproducing. Google search "java fern plantlets" and see if that's what's happening.
