Do you have anubias in your tank? I have some in mine and the flowers look like that when they start rotting. Maybe the snail got a flower caught in its shell.

The main parasite that affects snails in the aquarium hobby is the snail leech. There are a few different types it's possible it is a leech, but it doesn't look like the snail leeches I have seen.

Some more info Fig. 6 Feeding behavior of the leech ''H. robusta'', adult individual...
Definitely doesn't look like any of those! Is there a chance if it was a parasite that affects snails would it be able to harm my fish

It does look a lot like a sprouting seed! Hopefully that is all it is.
Yeah it looks a lot like one but how in the world did it get a seed as big as itself inside of it. I don't even have any plants flowering right now

I couldn't help but chuckle when a seed was mentioned
It looks to me like a seed, now that you mention it, I don't think a snail stomach is that large.

Maybe the seed was stuck in it's shell and when it sprouted, it got too big and fell out.

Since it's not moving, I guess it's the snail's love dart (I'm not sure if nerites used those) or reproductive organ
