This is a beautiful betta I found out Petco. I loved the color and everything, but I didn't know if I should have gotten it.

I don't know. I guess I didn't know if it would get along with my community tank.

But since it's so pretty I may get it. If it's still their I will get it and put it in my bottom 40 gallon while I am waiting for the top 40 to finish cycling

But another reason why I didn't was because next week I am moving fish around the tanks. This was my plan. The 60 gallonhas 7 gold barbs, 4 scissor tails (going to add more after I move stuff), 6 black neon tetra, 2 platies (I also have 4 baby Platy in there), 3 female guppies, and 12 albino Cory.
The temp is 78, nitrite 0, nitrates 20, pH 6.8.

The top 40b (breeder) has just goldfish in their right now and I am going to remove them.
The temp is 72 but I am going to turn on the heater before I move fish in their.
The pH is 6.8 the other 40b has 9 gold barbs. The pH is 7.2. And the temp is 72 (turning on heater when needed).

Okay so here is my plan. I am going to move the gold barbs from the bottom 40 to the top, then I am going to get the other golden barbs, black neon tetra, guppies, and corys and move them in the top 40. (let me know if that's to crowded).
The bottom 40 is going to have 30-50 Rcs. It has a lot of plants in it. The 60 gallonwill have only platies in it, but I am going to order the angels so when I am doing all of this the Angels will be in the 60 gallonbefore their is an ammonia spike.
How does this sound?

Sounds ok to me but someone else that may be better at stocking plans for those fish can confirm. I'm not familiar with the compatibility of gold barbs and scissor tails with some of the other fish.

As for the betta, do you still have the 10 gallon in your profile with the shrimp and snail? You could move them to some of the other tanks if you think the betta will bother them and there you would have the perfect setup for your pretty betta!

True, but the 40 top will eat the shrimp and the 40 bottom is for RCS. And now the 10 gallon has 30+ fry.

I wonder if I could put a betta with young gold barbs. They haven't nipped at all.

I got one!

He is going into the 60g

Is their any "I am going to kill you" in this video?

Here's another video

Probably too soon to tell. I guess my main concerns would be the height of the tank for the betta and the angels that you are eventually putting in. Just prepared to have a backup tank ready.

Do! And the betta isn't going with the angels

Oh, I thought I read from your other thread that you were putting angels in the 60. Well, I would still have a backup tank ready anyway.

Lol yea betta is either going in 10 gallon alone or the top 40b. If the betta is attacking or being attacked I will put it in the bottom 40 and put a divider since I have gold barbs in their

Here's another pic
I am trying different foods! He loves all of them!

One more!

Well kinda. He likes to flare at my red mm platies, but he lets me touch him. He also likes running through the bubbles. I don't really think that is much of a personality thou. I have only had him for 2 weeks so. And thx!

I am actually trying to grow algae in my tank. It's kinda hard thou. I want green algae mainly. The tank gets cleaned to much by the cories lol. My nitrates are at 15-20 and the light is on for 12 hours a day. I got green algae on my filter thou but the fish can't reach that -.-

I have 5, but the pleco's don't like it that much. They are rarely on it.

I have 3 male Bettas in my 90g. But my tank is 6'x2'x1' so there's plenty of space. It's heavily planted.
