Aww, she's like a betta LOL

Henri, if I remember correctly, she's a pink convict, that was a brat in another tank.

I have 3 species of plants, 2 in that tank :) And yes, I have java moss coming out my ears. It's in at least half of my tanks now.

It's a female pink convict and a 10 gallon tank. She was too aggressive for the 55, so that's her home. She's killed almost all the MTS in the tank. She made that pile of shells in the corner of the tank.

The house was a petsmart purchase, IIRC.

Oh so a convict can work in a 10 gallon... Heheh thank you, I have an empty one sitting around 3:).
Btw what lights are you using? The moss is thriving...

A *female* convict that did not receive proper nutrition in the developmental stages and is stunted because of it, can live in a 10 gallon. She grew up in a 75 and 55, so it certainly wasn't a lack of space that contributed to her small size. She was meant to be a feeder and somehow survived.

I just put in a new light that has a pink hue to it. I like it because it really shows her colors well. Before that it was a standard light. As far as I know, java moss thrives no matter what.

Didn't she beat up everything in your other tanks? ;D Cichlids are awesome!

Nice moss, it looks really cool. Pile of shells has kind of a dark humor about it...love the substrate.

Yes, including the knife, bichir, ctenopoma in the 75 and the chanchitos (10 times bigger), tiger barbs and loaches in the 55.

She's the first fish that I've named.
