I'm relatively confident with my fish keeping abilities. I thought about it for a little bit, and decided I wanted some Crystal Red Shrimp for my 10 gallon betta tank, as my koi plakat kinda just hovers in place around the top all day.
I spent $40 for 4 of them, tank is at 77 degrees so hoping with all the moss and plants they will breed if the betta leaves them alone, prepared to add some material to naturally lower the pH if I need to. They are pretty high quality CRS, really cool looking.
Wish me luck. I'm aware this is a big gamble, but they would definitely get eaten in my 20 gallon and my ultimate goal is to also have a group of ember tetras for orange/red/white theme of the tank. I hope this isn't $40 down the drain. (will post pictures soon)
