there is always a HOB (hang on back) sump.

The OP is not asking about setting up a skimmer. The OP is asking for what their options are with getting a sump on a tank with tempered glass.

Ok so with a 55gal what would be the smallest possible size sump to use. Cause I have an old 10 gallon tank but don't k ow if it's a good size to use

I plan on building my own stand for the tank, and was thinking go about having 2 sumps in 2 10 gallon tanks that way I could fit more.
