Thinking About Redecorating

Hi!

Here our two of my current tanks. I am thinking about adding all live plans to our 55 gallon tank as this one is pretty bland and I think our angelfish would love more plants (we have added a few more fake plants since this picture). I’m looking for the best real plants for the following fish in my 55 gallon:

• Angelfish
Blue Rams
Silver Dollar Fish
•Black Skirt Tetra
Red Tailed Shark
Buenos Aires Tetras
Pleco

Now I also have 32 gallon with 4 tiger barbs, 2 corydoras, and one red tailed shark. I currently only have moss balls in there!

Any/all ideas would be great!!

What kind of lights do you have on the tank and do you have high water flow?

For no CO2 plants I like floating plants such as water lettuce or duckweed. Other kinds I like are temple compacta, anacharis, java ferns, and Anubis. I’m also super in love with my dwarf water lily

Most likely, the silver dollars and the Buenos aries tetra will eat any plant you include. Some have had limited success with anubias, java ferns, crypts and mosses with these fish. Plants like duckweed and vals ('soft plants') will be readily consumed.

I have LED lights and high water flow! Thank you! Most of my fish or bottom dwellers or mid floaters so I like the idea of floating plants.

Thank you! The fish store we started going to has all live plants and it made me fall in love with the idea.
