Think i have a betta problem...

So, i told my wife no more betta tanks at home...so now i am thinking about setting up a 5.5g at work in my guard shack....Houston, we have a problem?

In this case it is a old conex box converted into an office. Heated and A/C.

 

What's wrong with a tank at work? And you won't be lying to your wife because it's not at home.

Just keep in mind that you might have to take the tank home at one point. Perhaps have her pick out the betta and say that you want the tank to remind you of her?

Only thing wrong with it is it probably won't be til spring time... when the next round of construction starts up.

I figure if i wait a few months i may change my mind. Will have to bring the water from home anyhow. It is very do-able, may be more a pain than it is worth. I just get bored when i am caught up on tank maintenance or not in some sort of planning phase.

 

I had a 5.5 on my desk with shrimp back when I was still going to work. I also took water from home. It wasn't much trouble.

 

So...i decided i am going to get one of the 5.5g kits from Petsmart when they go on sale again. Haven't decided on anything else yet for the tank. The biggest problem i have thought of is the actual fish. Would have to get it Sunday night, then transport Monday morning. I got time to figure it all out...waiting til springtime comes back around to actually do most of this.
