Learning that they eat cucumber, I didn't want to buy a while cucumber and let it go to waste, I went to subways and got a sub with cucumber, got home, rinse it off and give it to them...

things you do while being a guppy addict

I'm constantly trying new foods for my fish to give them a well rounded diet and see what they love most.

For my guppies, their favorites are frozen bloodworms, tubifex worms and carrots. They go nuts whenever I throw that in the tank.

I have to admit that I mostly given the Endler's flake food that I rub to a fine powder first and some baby brine shrimp. Everyone says that they'll eat larger foods, but they pretty much ignore any shrimp that is the least bit larger as well as bloodworms. Maybe it's because there's so much competition between them that they want to gobble what is smallest and floats on the surface first.

I used to give them some sinking shrimp pellets and that went over better, but the traffic jams were out of control even if I dropped in a dozen :b

Raw carrots, but I soak it overnight in garlic guard to soften it up a bit.

I've finally given in and shelled out $30 to try a couple varieties of repashy gel food... I'll have to do a review once they get here!
