Thick Lipped vs Honey

So I’ve been wanting some honey gouramis for a while, and I was wondering how to distinguish them from their bigger cousins. I used the search, but I couldn’t find an actual list of differences to help tell them apart. I saw that sometimes thick lips have a longer body, but that could vary between individual fish. Does anybody know any more differences? jinjerJOSH22 maybe? Thanks!

Here are the differences:
- Honeys have color in their tail, thick lipped don't
- Thick lipped lips have a sorta lump/thickness/bulge to them while honeys don't

I'm sure there's more, but that's what I use to tell them apart

Honeys are usually sold at a much smaller size and have reds and oranges in their tails instead of blue.

Not necessarily. THick lipped can have no color in their tail.

Sorry I missed the @
What Acorn said is good. Of course, you could always post pictures here to make sure.
Wild type female Honeys are a little different as they don't have a strong colour but they won't have the orange colouration in the first place.
