I ordered some new loaches online, since variety is limited where I live for species.

One has a kinked tail, but seems very healthy otherwise. Already the four newbies have made themselves at home. The kuhlis spend most of their time under the leaf litter while the other loach joined the javas zooming around the right side wall of the tank like spun noodles.

Anywho, meet Udon, Ramen, Soba, and Lo Mein

I have to say that the black khulis don't do it for me but I love the regulars. I have about 8 in a fighter tank.

Khulis are great. How many do you have in total.
3 kuhli
2 java
And 1 unknown assuming panda as the markings are closest. Was ordered as a java but came as a surprise difference.

Went for a mix group until we get a tank upgrade, then we will add on

Nice kuhli's. I have 8 of them, maybe more, I kind of lost count. A mix of striped and black. The striped ones are very pretty but my black ones are more outgoing and I see them more often.

The javas are spun, always zooming in donuts up and down the tank wall. I'm seeing so far the kuhlis are calmer and tend to love the leaf litter a lot.

All 3 came out for breakfast from inside the tunnel
