These 3 Plants Will Help Me Establish My Cycle?

Hey guys, I'm moving from a cycled 10 gal to a brand new 55 gallon.
Seeded my new filter on the 10.
Somebody suggested I get these plants:
Water sprite
Anacharis
Hornwort
And throw them in the 55 with my seeded filter for a few days, then introduce fish.

Plants coming in the mail today, anything else I need to know?

PS filter's only been seeding for a couple weeks, ideally I'd have done it longer but the plants are here today.

Plants can live in an uncycled tank. As long as the parameters aren't too extreme, they'll be fine.

You have a heater in and running?

Are you planting them or leaving them floating?

Do you have a liquid fertilizer? Root tabs (if planted)?

What type of light?

How long is the light on each day?

I wasn't even planning on having these plants survive, just improve the water chemistry while I'm establishing cycle.
I don't have a light or an heater on the tank. Heater I'll be getting asap, light I was going to wait for a deal from the classifieds.

Are the plants going to receive any source of light? If not, they won't do much in the way of improving water parameters and will begin to die off.

The only light would be indirect sunlight, but I will see about getting a light today if I can find the right seller. Heater I'll be getting new but it may not get to me immediately.
I was thinking these plants would provide my seeded aquaclear110 with food for the bacteria and possibly make my water more habitable or hasten that process. I was planning on putting the fish from my 10 gal in within a few days (after getting heater of course).

If you have enough light, then those plants are fast growing nutrient hogs that filter the water. Live plants will use up ammonium, that's how they would help with the cycle. They are not needed however. If they grow well, I like to add live plants for the health of my fish. It's too easy to grow plants with LED lighting, especially the simple ones like you've listed and now I am really into plants, like underwater gardens haha. May I ask what your tank water hardness is?

Why not just transfer the old filter on the 10 over to the 55 along with the newly seeded one? It'll be an almost instant cycle without any headache.

Well if the plants rot, they will certainly add some food for the BB, but a big mess is not how I like to do it haha. It's like cycling with fish food.

When I start a QT tank, I will use either media from an established tank and place it in my QT filter, or even keep a sponge from a sponge filter in the canister to use when I need it.

FYI, it's not always an instant cycle. No one can be sure nitrifying bacteria has moved to sponge you added or seeded in the media you borrowed. That's why it's so important to test the water after you add the fish. If any ammonia registers, add more media from your established tank (if 0.25ppm or less) and bond ammonia with Prime. If it's more than 0.25ppm, it's better to add in a water change and make sure to test the next day until ammonia is no longer registering.
