Hi all thought I'd do a thread about my three goldfish. They're currently in a 55G (which I know some people think is over stocked). They've got two HOB filters and a sponge filter. Theodore is probably about 3. He's an orange Oranda [IMG]the other two are new and very young. Tallulah is a young grey Oranda (I think she may change color) [IMG] and Josephine is a calico ranchu (I believe).[IMG] She is the smallest. They're being treated for ich right now. This is their tank currently I just redid a lot of it [IMG][IMG]

That's so interesting what you've done with the aluminum foil on the back!

Thanks. My mom always had her tanks like that growing up it always adds a bit of a 3-D in the background it doesn't make it look super boring, plus it's really easy

Beautiful Goldies there. I agree, Tallulah is probably gonna change colors as she grows.

Yeah I just hope she doesn't turn all orange, not hating on the orange ones, I just like to have a little bit a pattern

These three have been doing wonderfully. I think Tallulah is a tallullo (a boy). The bad news is last night while I was at work my filter overflowed and gallons of water leaked onto my second second-story floor, which is still being dried. Hopefully not causing any damage to the floor below. However I was at work when this happened and nobody else in my family noticed so we don't know how long the water was on the floor. I told my mom and were trying to solve it without my dad finding out because if he does he will be very mad and probably have to either get rid of my tank or move it somewhere downstairs. If it's an expensive problem I'll also probably have to help pay. Altogether it's been a very stressful and discouraging couple days.

I'm so sorry to hear about the water problem. That's one of my biggest fears is that some day I'll come home and find the tank leaked all over my hardwood floors too. I hope you get to keep tank where you want it and that there wasn't much damage.

I too have 3 fancy goldfish in a 55 for a year now. Beliefs on size of tank for fancies varies depending on who you ask, so I always take advise with a grain of salt and try to stick with what the majority view is.

I like the colors of your fish!

I think the worst that could happen is I'll have to move the tank downstairs which isn't that bad. I'm just worried about mold in the structure or anything like that of my house, i've spent the past two days drying everything out

Updated pictures, tallulo and Josephine are growing quickly. Teddy is already full grown so not much change there lol. Some pics of them in the tank and some of me holding them so you can get a feel for their size. 97d1448f571e367a5eec433d732a5cd5.jpg
