Funny The Trouble With Pleco's Is........

OK so this is open to all who have Pleco's of any variety in their aquarium(s)

My little mischief maker, Percy....

Hangs off the thermometer til it comes unstuck from the glass and then boots it up and down the glass with his nose or tail....then gives me the evil eye when I stick it back into place, waits a few minutes and then hangs off it again til it comes free once more and starts playing football with his tail

And just recently I have discovered the heater dangling by its electrical cord several mornings on the trot...duly stuck it back down, thought nothing else of it

Til, that is, just now when I spied Percy furiously wriggling tween the heater and the glass and then hanging off the bottom of the heater, looking VERY proud of himself

He also wages war with the moss balls too, waits til lights off then determined to move them he goes upside down and pushes them across the aquarium...often pushing a moss ball against the Cory who are trying to push it the other way

Carrots...sliced carrots.....Percy loves his carrot and woe betide anyone who dares to come close to HIS carrot slice...an evil eye followed by a lightning fast smack around the face with his tail for anyone who tries to steal his carrot

Anyone else have a comedian for a Pleco?

He is meant to be a Common Pleco, but his markings are considerably lighter and he has way more visible brown spots than any of my previous Common's....he might well be a hybrid of some sort...a Heinz 57 Pleco

My clown pleco likes to sit, in a rather smug fashion, on top of it's courgette slice like the king/queen of the castle and swishes it's tail at anyone who comes near.

It also likes to make it's way across the tank dashing, from ornament to ornament, much like Tom the Cat sneaking up on Jerry.
