The Only Reason I Want Saltwater

I only want it for an anemeny, clown fish, lion fish an octopus, and a cow fish, also all the fish that were in the finding Nemo movie. Is this wrong, other than those they have counter parts that are fresh water or I just don’t find interesting?

 

Well...

Lionfish, octopi, and cowfish are all pretty hard to keep, especially the last two... not animals that should really be kept in anything less than a few thousand gallons, IMO.

Well, dwarf octopuses only live for around 6 months. The larger species live longer, but still quite short, usually a few years or more.

 

I literally only want a saltwater tank so I can have cuttlefish. I know they have to be housed in a species only tank and they only live for like a year. I don't care. I want cuttlefish.

The question you should be asking yourself is why you're feeling guilty ?

Now, if you watched the movies and then decided that Nemo and all his friends belong in the ocean and should never be kept in an aquarium, then yeah, I get it some people might get offended.

I really wish he'd dig into saltwater a lot more! He had that little nano reef for a few months, but I guess he lost interest. He's pretty down about the sharks, too.

 

A Lionfish would probably end up eating the clowns or any other fish it could get in it's mouth (they have big mouths). They are very predatory.

 

I would also want a cuttle fish, because they sounded cool in Age of Ultron

 

You just reminded me I'd like a Lion Fish one day. My ultimate fish.
