Hi! So what is the oldest fish in my fishroom? I have never talked about this fish, and I never make threads about this fish. This fish was given to me by a friend and he is living all alone in his own little tank. Some of you may question how I keep this guy, as he is in a 1 gallon tank with no filter or heater, but I do water changes on him regularly and he has been alive for 9 years! Keep in mind this species of fish normally only lives about 1 year, maybe two. This fish is, my MISQUETO FISH! I have had him for 4 years now and my friend gave hime to me (my friend had him for 5 years). BTW where he is living now is about 1,000 times better than my friend kept him in. My friend kept him in a soda bottle for 5 years, so where he is with me is actually really good in his mind. I have never changed his living space (other than the occasional re-scape and water changes), and he has lived for 9 years. Here he/she is (yes there are pond snails in there):

She/he have been alive for 9 years, 4 of which were with me. He was my first fish ever (other than like 1 other betta I had at the time). He is now a part of this “display” in my fishroom:

Today I plan to go out and get another misqueto fish or two to put in the other two tanks. What is your oldest fish and what do you think?
