I am almost done. It is about 90% finished. I converted it from gravel and silk plants to artificial soil and fully live plants. The 2 pieces of driftwood on the sides of the tank are resin. The big driftwood in the middle is real. I added a Aquatop UV HOB filter and a sponge filter in addition to the existing AC110.

Here is my stocking idea:
5 Denison barbs
5 Congo tetras
6 Von Rio tetras
5 Lemon tetras
10 rummy nose tetras
10 panda cories
15 Amano shrimp

undecided about neon tetras

Here is what it used to look like:

And its current look:

Tell me what you think about the tank and stocking idea.

I think it's beautiful!!! Nicely laid out tank and with the different tetras in there, they should be both happy with the space and provide hours of enjoyment as you watch them interacting.

So other that adding some more plants, the stocking in this tank is pretty much final:

Amano Shrimp x15
Panda Cories x15
Von Rio Tetras x10
Denison Barbs x6
Congo Tetras x6
Albino Tiger Barbs x6
CPOs x2
Purple / Blue Snails x5
Apistogrammas x2

All inhabitants are still pretty juvenile in size, but there should be plenty of room for them as they grow. and now on to the pics:

OMG!! That tank is my new definition of beauty!!
What is your substrate? It looks so cool!....
Thank you. To be honest with you, I don't remember the name of it at all. It is some chinese brand generic version of the Fluval Strata type stuff. The next time I go to the place I get it at I will snap a pic of the packaging for you.

Been busy for a little while and haven't updated lately. Here are the latest pics of my 100 gallon planted, which shows a lot of plant growth. The fish have grown quite a bit as well. I also added 2 electric blue rams to the tank.

Beautiful job! Reminds of that movie with the really tall blue people☺Great pictures & video - I hope to capture our tank build in pictures in the next couple of weeks. I am sure you will inspire a lot of people to think about the design of their fishy friends☺ homes!
