Yeah those things are really cool. They freak me out to no end but they are cool. Google search Mantis Shrimp caught in Florida.....things get huge and could be very well where you put your toes in the water. The joys of the ocean.

 

And they are really tasty with soy sauce and wasabi.

 

There's lots of species, some get big, some don't. I want one of the smaller types....

 

That was a sweet video to watch. Those guys are bad!

 

I watched a documentary on Nat Geo a few months back on these guys. Very strong hit for such a small animal.

 

Amazing aren't they? A perfect example of how we depend on nature to advance technology.
