The Best Fert Out There Hands Down.

Let me preface by saying that I was usingg flourish liquid, root tabs, excel and iron. Two days ago, I got my first order of easy green root tabs. My root plants have taken off! My easy green liquid fert arrives today. I can't wait to see what my water column feeders do after a couple of days. Any questions on the brand, feel free to ask. So far 5 stars for the root tabs. While the commercial ferts are designed conservatively for the average newcomer, easy green and tabs contain way more micro and macro nutrients than the major corporations, because it us made by the store. I had to trim and replant 6 plants yesterday alone and another 4 are ready to go!!! My vallisnaria is starting to grow about an inch a day (previously no growth). I'm super excited.

Widely available commercial ferts are shockingly lacking in several areas, which I unfortunately found out only after buying flourish. I switched to Nilocg Thrive, which is the most concentrated liquid fert on the market, and couldn't be happier. Easy green is great for the typical low tech tank.
If you have a low GH you might also need to buy a GH booster, easy green has no calcium, an important macronutrient.

I dirt my tanks I currently supplement with liquid flourish and potassium (didn't have to at first) but overall everything has been going well for a year. Hopefully I will dirt my 40b tomorrow and plan to use an organic potting mix along with... potash, bone meal, red mexican clay, and dolomite. Fingers crossed that it will work well and for a long time.
