    Whee more fish! :;banaman

This week's installment of fish comes courtesy of Cichlidnut.

I've had a hard time counting them, but I got quite a few endlers - mostly blackbars with a few chilis as well. I initially only wanted blackbars, but CN said he had too many chilis and I was getting some whether I liked it or not. I'm glad he twisted my arm, I love them both! They're much more colorful than I could have imagined. I love seeing a bunch of little fish swimming around, but they're small/peaceful enough that Ernesto doesn't seem to mind at all. They're very difficult to photograph!

I also got a number of RCS as well. A few have molted already! They're all nice and meaty and dark red. We're going to let them breed in the 20 for awhile until I stock up a bunch, then a couple will go in the 2.5 and the rest will go in the 55 gallon. I think we want yellow shrimp for the 20 long because they'd stand out better, and the red ones will look good in the 55.

Additionally I received a number of plants (java fern plantlets, najas grass, a tiny unintentional bit of java moss ) and a TON of food! Ernesto got a nice hefty sample of Ken's earthworm and vitamin flakes, which the rainbows and platies are enjoying as well. I received NLS itty bitty baby fish formula (it's much smaller than my 0.5mm small fish formula) and growth formula mixed together for the endlers. I think they like having the food they're used to; something constant amidst so much change. I also got some larger pellets, some better algae wafers than I have currently (hooray!) and some of Ken's catfish sticks. Plus some Indian almond leaves! It's like Christmas! :;banaman

I don't have many good pictures yet but I'll update as I get them.

Thanks guys! I have a video of the endlers uploading but I made it too long so it's taking forever...I may just scratch this one and make a shorter one.

Hooray plants! (Btw I have an updated picture of the hippo grass to put up.)

Here's a video of the endlers and their home.

Edit: Unfortunately the video definitely doesn't do them justice. They're much more colorful! I'll have to work on better pictures.

    Just started
I'm starting to like them more too, bold splotches of color instead of the standard gradient... kinda like the picaso of the fish world

Congratulations on the endlers I love mine they are crazy little fish and although I am too far away to get any from Cichlidnut it was he that inspired me to get some and I love them.

I have a dwarf gourami in with mine and she doesn't bother them one of the female endlers nips at her tail every now and again until Liara gets annoyed and reminds her she is soooo much bigger lol there's no malice I just think its funny they are like naughty children.
I'm sure Ernesto will enjoy his new tankmates
