Thankful Thread

I will start. Thank you to the person who works at the Petsmart in Noblesville for acknowledging that one of the shrimp they were netting was sick and put them back in the tank. I’m thankful also for the fact there’s a community of people who like the things I like and are there to help me

I'm thankful for my awesome grandpa for making my new 40 gallon tank stand so it can also hold a 20 gallon ( 2× THE NEW TANKS!!!!!) (insert Kip Dynamite yesssss).
And for my grandparents in general. And for the kind people on this forum who even pay shipping to donate their excess plants, fish and snails to other appreciative members. And also, the people who continually put up with my quirks, and bursts of energy which comes out as rambles. And Meredith Clawson. I'll stop before it's a few pages long, happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I'm thankful for many things, but family is at the top. This discussion reminds me of a line from one of my favorite Ray Wylie Hubbard songs: "On the days I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, I have really good days."

Let's show thankfulness toward our aquariums!

I'm thankful that my fish are all healthy now and that my tank parameters are stabilized after some amazing advice from this community. So, I suppose I'm thankful for you, too!

My package with shrimp and baby guppies is really late and is stuck over Thanksgiving. I'll be thankful if they're alive...

I'm very thankful for the passion aquarium keeping has given me, even though I just have a cycling 5.5 gal. It's been a nice change of pace in my monotone life reading, studying, and hearing about fish and fish keeping!

I’m thankful for all my fish and my family. Also fishlore it’s not everyday you meet a group of people like this that work together and come together. Thank you all!

I’m thankful for my friends and family, as well as all of you on fishlore and the mods who work so hard I’m also thankful for my newest tank that I was able to rescue. The little fishies that came with it give me so much joy

I have a lot to be thankful for this year. Despite the world falling apart, thanks to the business im in and lucky enough to have everyone healthy, my life has been largely unaffected by the pandemic. I realize everyone else may not be so lucky and im genuinely thankful for my life as it is right now.

But this community does hold a special place in my heart. I appreciate all of you, and if ANY of you are ever in the Boston area, you've got a friend here. I'm going to throw a special thanks to coralbandit here. I came very close to quitting the hobby after some tank malfunctions. I recieved a lot of support, but talking about it with you really brought me back down to earth. Without our chat, I'm not certain I'd still be here today.

I'm thankful for everyone here and how we help each other make our hobby better and more enjoyable.

Also thankful for good hearted people, my family, friends, having a job when so many are still out of work and that I'm still breathing.

Gobble gobble

I am thankful that i have a day off, thankful that i woke up(though not thankful that i forgot to turn my alarm off last night).

I am thankful that the members of my family still living are in good health, my cats and fish are in good health and that my daughter wanted to play GO FISH this morning(and destroyed me!).

Also, i am thankful for this community and any advice i picked up(even indirectly) and anything i might of passed along that helped others.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Today, we shall feast!! Time to get fat, dumb and happy!!!

I am thankful for landing my dream job this August in the middle of a pandemic. I am also thankful for all the fish that survived the CO2 injection malfunction in my 90G this past Monday when I thought it was going to be a complete wipeout.

I’m thankful that I’ve gotten better at and learned how to keep fish this year even though there was a pandemic. (Here’s a step by step progression of my tank, I rescued 3 swordtails and have rehome 2.
