I just wanted to extend thanks to fishlore and so many of you that have helped me to get where I am today. My 75 gallon tank finished cycling a couple of days ago and now all my fish from my 10 gallon are in the big tank. Soon I'll make a trip to the LFS to get new family members. I plan to get 1-2 fish every 2 weeks or so. Anyways, so many of you have helped me to get this far and I couldn't have done it with out you guys. I'll post a picture of the tank later when I get home. I don't have my plants in there yet, LFS had to order them. Thank you all for tolerating my questions, obviously this is a on going hobby and I'm sure I'll have more questions soon.

You did a fishless cycle so you could put in quite a few fish at first.

Yea,we put in a loach, german ram, platies, a guppy, bumblebee catfish, mollie and tetras from our 10 gallon yesterday. I know we are not even close to the bio load this bad boy can take ( wet/dry with magdrive 500 gph pump). If I can get out of Pchem tonight early enough I plan to go to LFS to pick up a couple. I ordered a female german ram to go with my male. I am so excited

Ugh, Pchem. When I was in college, I was so close to having a chemistry minor, I thought " why not? I only need Pchem and 1 other chem. class to get it". Not a class to take just for giggles.

I would rather read about fish tank chemistry all day long than repeat that class.

I look forward to seeing your tank.

That's hilarious! I'm a physiology major and I did the same thing....

"I can get a minor in chem, I only need 3 more classes (qualitative, Pchem and current issues in chem)"

yeah, it was a dumb idea hahaha.

There's moss growing on the driftwood, but plants haven't been put in yet

Are you saying that the moss came out of nowhere? It might be thread algae.
