Thank You, Gypsy13!

Not sure where to put this but I wanted to thank Gypsy13 for all of her help and knowledge with 2 of my fish lately. One had severe popeye and the other had early dropsy. Gypsy walked me through treatment and both are fine today. This woman is completely blind yet can diagnose a disease and properly treat almost any fish we give her. I call on her to help others so often. She is an amazing woman and does things I can’t do even with 2 good eyes. Health issues cause extreme fatigue for her yet she pushes along to help others. Thank you, Gypsy13 for your dedication to this site. You inspire me!

 

She really is Inspireing and helpful in the fish community. She reminds me of Molly Burke who is also blind and flims on youtube. Its very cool to see someone with such love of fish and helping others who can't even see her cute little fish family. She even made a pie by herself better then I could ever! Truly Inspiring women keep up the good work!

%100 agree, These two make fishlore a better place! I'm always on here on weekdays dureing school hours and always find them helping out.

All my friends think I'm weird for haveing so many fish and proper set ups. My family dosent care either. On here you guys understand me and have helped me so much. I will most likely never meet any of you but on here I have many fish friends, thank you. (And now this thread has turned into a puddle of us crying all together...)

You’re all amazing to me. And don’t look up to me. Look right across to me. You’re pretty special. I’m just a part of fishlore. A teeny tiny part.

You know, other than dear old put upon hubs, Kipperdoo, feral cats, fish and other critters, my family is gone. I have some “when they want something” nieces and nephews but it’s getting harder and harder to count them. So you guys have become my family. We’re a team. All of us. And we generally play well together. Lol. Yes. I’m feeling the ❤️ . Hope you guys are too cause it’s here.

She has helped me so much with my sick goldfish. She has been very patient and understanding with me (I don't have a clue about fish disease and treatment). There is no one I would trust more to give me advice on sick fish. I'm so grateful she's on fishlore!

 

She's just so nice and helpful!

 

She's always so kind and never gets mad at anyone. She always fins the time to help people, even though she's blind and it takes so much more effort. She really is a pure soul

She's everywhere at once, answering everyone's questions, but also gets to know people on a more personal level She has reached out to me before, regarding my own issues.

 

HI Gypsy!!! I think your a wonderful, kind, sincere person. Everyone here at Fishlore can't wait to see you back!!!!

 

Gypsy was one of the first to reach out and talk to me, which shows her kind and awesome spirit as an individual. Not only is she incredibly smart, and certainly knows a thing or two about fish, but her willingness to help is truely touching!

 

She is infinitely patient, kind and thoughtful of others. Her words always bring a smile to my face and often make me think. She is so very strong and life isn't easy, yet she still finds it in herself to not only be helpful and kind but also has a way of calming the fears of others. She is full of joy and brings that to so many here. Last, but certainly not least, she's funny! I love all these things about Gypsy and strive to find the same qualities within myself.

 

Y’all! How could I have even thought to go one day without you? You’ve become so much a part of me. I’m always talking about you. My “real” peeps don’t have a clue. I can literally feel them looking at each other doing the crazy twirly finger thing. They just don’t get us at all.
