Thai Micro Crabs out all the time

I have 5 ThaI Micro Crabs. Absolutely love them! I read that they are nocturnal and that you rarely see them. For the first 5-6 days I rarely saw them except just before bedtime. Lately they have been spending more time roaming around the tank. I was worried they felt like they didn't have enough hiding spaces so I made some more little flat rock lean-to's. Now they are out even more. It's like once they settled in and knew they had lots of hidey-holes they felt more comfortable and didn't need to hide so much. ---Anyone else notice the same thing?

Another thing: when my crabs arrived they were all pretty white-ish colored. A few days later 3 of them became their normal color but 2 are still white. At first I thought that maybe they had shed just before shipping and needed a few days for their exoskeleton to harden. But those 2 are still white/pale. They act just like the other 3 natural colored ones. ---Anyone have any ideas? I feed mainly Crab Cuisine and Omega One Veggie Rounds but they also get spinach, shrimp pellets, and a special Triops food from Dadasis. They live with my Cherry Shrimp.

Awesome I have wanted some of these guys but not sure where to buy them... anyways those two could either be naturally white or maybe they are still stressed from something, could even be a shrimp are picking on them but not the other two... I say as long as they are happy and acting like the other 3 your safe.... also... PICTURES!!!!!

Awesome. I had the same setup planned for the ThaI Micro Crabs but with CRS, but I basically converted the future Invert tank into an Anubias Experiment tank.

Here's some pics I took last night. I bought a new tank yesterday and moved everything from my 5 gal Marineland to my new Fluval Spec 5 gal. The water is still a little cloudy.

The last picture is my berried female on a bacopa stem. I tried really hard to get a pic showing her eggs but they just don't show up.

I've had mine for a almost a year now I've seen them twice ever! Once when the order got here and once when I rescaped the tank. If you have mopanI driftwood in your take you will never see these crabs again.

I should probably move them to my fluval spec.
