    Hi All,

What type of tetras can happily live together? I am thinking of 4-5 schools of about 8 fish each in a 100L aquarium.

In that size, you can probably do a max of 2 schools, maybe 3, I'll let some others chime in. Cardinals, neons, rummy nose, zebras are all good choices I think. I think most tetras can live happily together.

    Zebras aren't tetras...

Oops, you're right, I was thinking of danios. It's been a long day :)

EDIT: I completely blanked. I had been thinking of black neon tetras, sorry.

I would do 2 schools with more in each school in that size tank. It will look better.

As far as what types...black skirts, cardinal, neon (all varieties), glowlight, rummys, diamonds. Most tetras will do fine together, some are a little nippier than others. Congos I'd say are too big as they need more swimming room

Agreed, every other tetra in the Characins group works besides Congos.

10 and 10 of Cardinals and Rummys for that size would look pretty cool, IMO :)
