Tetra Seems To Have Swim Bladder Disease.

So I noticed that one of my glowlights tetras was having trouble swimming last night at it was just floating sideways in/ lying at the bottom of the tank . It seemed to have difficulty balancing itself and while it was like this the other tetras just came by and started taking bites out of its fins. In addition to the teared fins and bladder issue , one of its eyes bulged out with the top area sticking out of the eye hole and the bottom sinking into it. This all happened over the course of one.night. This tetra was all active and acting normally the night before yesterday and darted around as I fed them food. I separated it from the others to stop the nipping and to give it its own area to rest. The tank has been set up for a good 6 months so I know it’s established and I’ve been feeding them new life spectrum pellets as well as freeze dried blood worms( both of which I soak before feeding.). Please help

Introduce some veggies into their diet! Boiled and skinned peas work well. Get the affected fish a large breeder net to prevent bullying/starving. If you notice that the affected fish has developed a new disease like fin rot, put it in a little tub (preferably with an airstone) and treat it with the appropriate meds.

It looks like it has a disease, possibly NTD based on the Brownish lesion
Euthanize it and move on
Anytime you feed any type of worm, your taking a risk of introducing parasites
Most can be easily cured, but NTD or Whirling disease cannot
I reccomend sticking to regular pellet or flake food, Tetramin and Omega one are suprisingly good food.
Freezing or freeze drying does not kill everything, only bacteria.
Blooworms are well known for camallanus nematode parasite contimation.

Oh no the camera just makes it look brown but I can assure you that it is blacklish on the top half with a silverfish sheen on the underbelly. It seemed to have lost some control of its tail as it mainly uses its two front fins to move around or it just lays on its side. Also I’m not sure but the fins seem slightly white.

A0C0F772-9F5D-4808-8E8E-858E6964948B.jpeg Help! it’s progressively gettin worse. The fishes nipped fins are now decaying away at an exponential rate. One of its pectoral fins is now no more than a stub and now it just lays there most of the time. I have no idea what’s been causing this and I’ve been patiently waiting for more people to give feedback. Can you guys tell me what’s the issue at hand here and give solutions. I would hate to lose a fish without be able to do something

Have you tried an Epsom salt bath and feeding peas? If you have it may be too late

I have tried the peas, but the fish show no interest in it and I have no idea what caused this disease. I think it may be more than just swim bladder disease.

Are its scales raising off its body?

No its scales are fine. It doesn't seem to be dropsy but the fins keep rotting and the fish is just laying there and trying to breathe

I have decided that I will be euthanizing this fish as it's tail fins is now gone as well and no body else seems to want to give me a hand. Thank you Discus-Tang and Whitewolf for being the only ones who bothered to spare their time to try to help
