Is it possible to get tetra's to breed in an aquarium?

If so, how would I go about doing this?

Possibilities would be rasboras or tetra serpae

I know it is very hard to breed tetras in your own aquarium. Not a clue on how to breed them. Sorry :-\

My Baensch book talks about having the tetras in soft water with a Ph of 5.5 - 6.5 and a temp of 75-79 degrees.  Also, it says that they won't breed without feeding them live food.  For rasboras like the harlequin, it says that they are difficult to breed and must be in shallow, soft water with lots of broad-leaved plants to hide under.
