Tetra Parasite Gaurd Tablets Plant Safe?

Hello all! Two of my platys are a little bloated and have white, stringy poop. I am pretty sure they have some sort of internal parasite. I was researching medications and I have read good reviews on Tetra Parasite Guard tablets and I was wondering if they were plant safe. I have a quarantine tank I can use but I'd rather not have to move everyone but if I have to, I will. Thanks!

I don't know much about that medicine but I recommend you move everyone so you don't risk messing with your cycle or parameters or leaving any of the parasite hidden in the substrate of your main tank.

Good luck!

I am using this same medication in my 50 gallon.

At the time I had Java Fern, Anubias and Marimo Moss and it didnt seem to effect it. Also, it didnt effect my cycle at all. Today is the 3rd dose as my Pleco's still have the white string poop. Otherwise everyone else has healed nicely. I like that it has no negative effects on fish that aren't infected. Also has no negative effect on scaleless fish.

Thetanknwebie You said you just did a water change today. I don't know that its necessary, but I have been waiting 24 hours after water changes to add it. Would rather wait than have the medication not work. Dont forget to remove your carbon from the filter before you add it!
