I plan on getting a couple of Angelfish soon for my tank. For my goldfish tank, I have been using Tetra Fin Plus.

What type of Tetra plus would be better to feed? Min or Color?

Or is there something better than this food that I could feed the Angelfish?

I use Aqueon Flake Food with frozen brine shrimp and mystic shrimp switched in every other night. They love the frozen mystic shrimp. I think the key is to offer diverse foods so that there are no holes in there dietary needs.

    Good morning,

Personally I would shy away from flake food period and switch to NLS (New Life Spectrum) Thera A for all of your fish. :) Select a staple pellet and then add treats a couple of times per week such as Freeze Dried Krill, Freeze dried Eathworms and so on. Be sure to presoak all Freeze Dried foods.

I agree. NLS provides complete and comprehensive nutrition. The reason there are holes in other staple foods is because they are inferior. In addition to the incomplete nutrition they provide, there are a lot of fillers and junk.

So it's like that Total commercial - you need to eat 20 bowls of that other cereal to get the nutrition of one bowl of Total.

Also, goldfish and other large bodied fish really need pellets to eat.
