can tetra min flakes be used for cichlids. It's a quality tropical flake and I have a large container and don't want to waste it. Most of the cichlids will be juveniles. Thanks

What kind of cichlids are you trying to feed?

My tank just finished cycling and I'm having a hard time to decide but I'm thinking of doing mainly male peacocks with some yellow labs. I know new life spectrum pellets are prob best but like I said I have this stuff in a 8oz container full.

They should be fine, but I would also feed a quality pellet and some veggies and frozen foods. They really do best on a varied diet, like most all fish.
