Tetra Filter Bubbling (driving me crazy)

The filter for my new 1.5 gallon is just driving me nuts, it keeps bubbling like this:


How do I fix this? Please...

 

I am not familiar with your particular filter. Does it use an air pump? I have an inside filter for my 5 gallon tank which uses an air pump and I used an adjustable gang valve to turn the air pressure down to a more acceptable level.

 

Yes it is connected to an air pump, is that causing it?

 

I had the SAME filter, and the bubbling is just what it does. I got another filter due to that unfortunate side effect.

 

Ok thanks, I'm probably going to buy a new small filter. It's just really annoying hearing the bubbling sounds.
