Terrarium to aquarium questions

I'm trying to consolidate my fish tanks, and this will leave me with an empty 20 gallon long. I want to turn it into a terrarium (no water, no creatures, just plants).

My question is, if I do someday down the road want to use it as an aquarium again, would it be safe to do so after growing plants in it (and using soil and fertilizer)? Is there any certain fertilizer I should avoid using?

Sorry, I know these are kind of dumb questions, but I just want to make sure I'm not doing anything that would rule out making it into an aquarium again someday.

You my have to reseal again if the silicone is tearing or in bad shape. When I kept my gerbils in a 10 gallon, I upgraded them to a bin, now their dead, they had scratched a good amount of the silicone from the corners. Had to reseal when I converted it back to a aquarium. Which then became a terrarium then back to am aquarium. You should probably clean it with bleach when ever you convert a tank. Make sure you rinse it a few times then dry it.

Here's the result...a 20 long turned terrarium! Kiddo designed and planted it with very minimal help from me. Cute, and one less tank to clean and change water in!
