Temp Of Water Going Into Ro/di System?

So we’ve been researching systems and on a couple (we are specifically interested in the Marine Depot 6 stage unit) it mentions that optimal temp for the water going into the system is 70-77 F.

How do you obtain this temp? Out of the faucet, my water is currently measuring about 63 F.

Would one install a mixing valve to bring in some hot water?

Or do you all just let it go at whatever temp the water enters the unit?

I use a mixing station as you describe to feed my RO/DI and for water changes.
I even got an inline thermometer that finally works !

The red line is the feed to my RO/DI pump.
Those filters are in line after my tap is mixed to temp for water changes and is basically the same filters as my RO/DI minus the TFC and DI..

Hi,
My RO/DI, I used to just run at what ever came out of the tap. My mains pressure was more than adequate to feed through.

In winter, it took a little longer, but mheh, it worked fine.

Remember, water, like many things, gets more dense the cooler it gets. (Ice <-> Water <-> Steam), so the more dense it is, the harder it is to push through the membrane.
Assuming adequate pressure, I had no trouble feeding the water through.

Bringing temperature up is just impractical for me so I leave it run at whatever comes from the tap, I find in the winter my production falls to 35 minutes for 12ltr from 26ish in the summer, I store my water for 3 days before using and use a metal heater to bring up to tank temp before using, even with RO water I still use prime

I am on well water. I do not heat the water coming in. The membrane is 5 years old and just now slowing down.

Thanks all! Very helpful! I’m on well water also but it does have sufficient pressure for the RO/DI system.
I don’t mind a drop in gph. I’m only maintaining a 40 and 75 g and a temporary quarantine.
