Temp for rabbit snails?

I would like to buy some more rabbit snails but I’m getting a lot of mixed info online about what temp the tank should be.
I have a 37 gal that is at 77-78 degrees most of the time. I’ve read they like more around 80 but I’ve also seen that can be kept in as low as 70. I’m just a bit confused because i don’t want to buy more if my tank will be too cold for them.
Thanks!

Snails (and other inverts) are generally more temperature-tolerant than fish. Your 77/78 is perfectly fine for them. What's much more important is making sure they have enough calcium to thrive.

Ok thanks! Is the easiest way to do that by adding cuttle bone? Would cuttlebone alter my ph?

It might raise the pH slightly, but if you add it in moderation, there should be no issues.

my ph is already 8.2. Would it raise it even higher than that?

It's possible, but it shouldn't raise it significantly higher, and shouldn't raise it much at all if you don't add too much.
