What the heck is going on? I thought my tank went crazy or something Ive never seen ammonia this high before so how do I deal with this? Its not like I can do a water change..Is this going to kill my cycle?

Ammonia actually feeds your cycle. Treat your water beforehand with a double dose of Prime and it should give your bacteria time to process the Ammonia.

I can't get Prime locally. I would have to order it so wouldnt do much good two weeks from now.

There are alternative products that also treat Ammonia.

What stores do you have near you? I can help you find a product that is available to you locally!

If you're fishless cycling, you'll be fine. Ammonia doesn't become toxic to your beneficial bacteria until over 30 ppm.

If it's the case that ammonia spikes high (1 ppm or more) in your tap water often, I'd consider the regular use of Prime and/or a reverse-osmosis unit.

Wow that's extreme for tap water well compared to Australian water standards we have 0ppm
