i have 3 freshwater tropical tanks going and have no desire to set up a saltwater tank anytime soon.i really like some of the saltwater fish, but i love cichlids, catfish, and loaches. :-*the cichlids remind me of bass and brim here in Louisiana.also who could not love loaches and catfish.

my mom hates coolie loaches because she says they look like worms
and says they all look slimy but i want to get a yoyo

Tyler alot of people feel that way. It took my hubby a while to decide he liked my Black Kuhlis because they really look like worms/snakes.

that's the best part about those types of loaches. 8)

Yeah I think so too Dano, I have 13 in one tank and at feeding time they coil up in little balls and writhe around evrywhere trying to get to the food first. Other times they just kind of slink around checking the substrate for anything they may have missed ;)

i dont have any room for loaches anyway
and my dad isnt very keen on me getting the new tank
