Tank Stuck To Table

I am trying to move my betta tanks onto a rack and they are stuck to a painted table. They are glass. Any idea on how to free them. I would stick a screwdriver under them but they will break, I am sure. My 2 betta are out of the tank, it is 1/4 filled with water. When I moved my room, I painted this table, and maybe it was not dry yet. UGh. Any ideas?

 

Maybe some melted butted or baby oil????

I do have baby oil, guess it's worth a try, just not sure how to get it under the tank. Grr. I swear nothing ever goes as planned for me. Thanks.

 

Lol maybe try to pour some on the table and try to move the tank. you could try to "stab" a screw driver at the tank but like you said it might break

Just tried fishing line and it is getting stuck in middle of tank area. I do now know what to do. I have no way to get new tanks right this minute, fish are in cups. I have to move this table to make room for rack. I will keep working on it. Hope I don't break them.

Trying to jiggle them but they ain't budging.

 

Maybe try hot water if nothing works

 

got one free, on to the other one. First I gotta empty it. Pita. I also have to check it cause I heard some glass crunching, just a tiny bit.

 

Baby oil for a coulple of days and then twist the tank. Should come off, but you need to wait until the baby oil starts reacting with the paint.

 

Finally, both are free. I am going to wait about 30 mins to make sure no leaks though. I think I am going to buy new tanks for them anyway, acrylic. Do not like glass.
