HI second hand tank stand, for a 350 litre aquarium..it's mdf/plywood not sure, veneer cane with tank (thinks it's a rena tank and stand) ..appears to have some water damage (I think filter was leaking) some to top corner, some to base . Internal supports look fine. Also it's on rubber feet (multiple) and my floor is slightly uneven so have a wobble in to at the moment without tank on.
will post pics of damage in a moment. Should take the rubber feet off and then level somehow? Is it even advisable too use it ? Advice appreciated

Have you tried setting it on a different spot in the floor to make sure it isn't twisted? If you move it to another spot and it still rocks the same, I would replace the stand. Otherwise to shI'm and level a stand I've always used little corkboard flats you can buy at Wal-Mart. I found them by the furniture sliders/floor protectors. My floor in my apartment isn't level so I had to use them to shI'm my stand up and level

That's the left side and bottom of stand at worst spongy point (feels damp and soft but only where you see the sponge beyond feels firm but can't see under veneer)

There must have been either carelessness /leak, I have tested tank and seems fine.Suspect their filter was leaking as had poor gaskets. Hmmmm.

The top of the stand does feel a bit uneven right side but firm when run hand over veneer but pretty solid.

The last photo is back base edge. The worst area, along the edge the veneer curled a bit upward and a couple of sponge patches roughly same as one on front. But all feels firm.

Is this all from not being careful with water changing ? Is this stand safe /testable for safety?

If it feels spongy and soft to the touch this had some pretty serious water damage. It may not have even been from the tank itself as they might have used a different stand and just had this sitting out in the garage. Personally if it's swollen, spongy, or flakes off easy I would not use the stand. Just my opinion, but it just isn't worth it. 33 gallons of water can cause thousands in damage to your home. Pay the $100 for a new sturdy stand and save yourself the headache of always worrying about it.
