120 Gallon Tank Tank Purchase Options

I am in that market for a 125 gallon tank. What online sites do you recommend if any? Or...buy at a petco or pet smart?

 

Bought my Marineland 120 long w/stand a couple of years ago from Petsmart on sale for $300. Thick glass, black silicone. The stand is made from particle board, but is holding up well. No regrets. Craig's list and forums are other options.

 

Anyone else have advice here? I'm wondering WHERE people buy the larger tanks for a good price.

I bought my 150 tall at Petsmart 4 years ago. Hood, tank, stand and twin florescent light for $723.00 out the door.

Last week the stand that is wood separated and the aquarium leaked. I will not be buying another large aquarium from them again.

1. I got a strap around it before it collapsed. Severe damage to my home. I will not forget.

Two. In over 50 years I have lost 3. A 44 pent sprang a slow leak around 6 years ago. I cleaned and resealed it.

I do but I'm in china but even if I was in the usa I woukdnt reccomend them. There was a few trouble with the stand being scratched and they supplied the wrong size pump and bulbs. The stupid thing is they never fixed it so they never got the last payment. I forget how much it was but it was a lot more then what it would of cost them to fix everything.
