Tank placed by north facing window be okay?

Will it be okay to put a tank just inside of a north facing window? The back of the tank will be covered with picture frame matt material. Looking through the tank, it is black, but the back of the matting facing the window it is white. I bought a larger than required heater to compensate for any cold days. The canister filter has a UV sterilizer built in too. I also have blinds that I normally keep twisted to be about 3/4 closed.

I live on the third floor of a four floor building on the north side. It never gets direct sunlight. I do have east facing windows too, but they are nowhere near this tank. I think it will be okay, what do you think? I think I have all of the bases covered, as far as concerns with a tank by a window. Have I forgotten any?

Sounds like a good plan to me. Good luck!

That's totally fine! I've got a tank by a north window, and I put it on the east side so it doesn't get any direct morning sun.

Glad to hear people say it should be fine. I'm trying to figure out where to put my 55 gallon and all I have is window area.

Awesome, thanks everyone! Now if I can just find a buddy with a table saw and an air nailer so I can build a stand/bookshelf out of baltic birch plywood.
