tank mates for fire mouth in a 55

just got a 55 gal set up and cycling it trying to think of what fish to put in it. I wanted a severum but heard that would be the only fish id be able to keep in it. so now I'm thinking of a fire mouth, would I be able to have a pair of them and a couple other fish? what type of fish would get along with a fire mouth? any suggestions would be appreciated .

 

Do you like giant danios or rainbowfish?

Should I get the congos first and introduce the fire mouths after or the other way around? Or does it not matter. The most aggressive fish I've ever had was a blue gourami so I'm not very familiar with aggressive fish like cichlids

 

Shouldn't matter the tetras will stay mid to top while fms stay low.
