I’ve had my tank for a month now. Everything was around 0 ppm for a while. Ammonia is now maybe 0.25. Last week ish or so 5-6 days the tank has been milky cloudy (bacteria bloom) slight water changes every few days. Still little milky. One sponge filter for the 20 gallon tank. I had a active sponge filter in there. Took it out and just the regular small sponge filter is in there now. I assume it’s gonna take 1-2 weeks for bacteria bloom to go away?

I had an active filter in there that i assumed quick cycled my tank when i was doing a fish in cycle. Ph was 7.4 normally and ammonia and nitrites were 0 and nitrates were around 5. Ppm for while. I did like a water change and since then I’ve had milky water
